About Cigar Czar

Cigar Czar is the largest Habanos s.a retailer in the Asia Pacific. Friends of Habanos is the social heart of Cigar Czar and the forum is the largest Habanos Cigar forum in the world. All our cigars are supplied by Pacific Cigar Company PTE Ltd Hong Kong who are the Habanos s.a Licence holder for the Asia Pacific. We commenced online operations in February 1998.

General Manager Rob Ayala is passionate about Habanos cigars (plus wine, fly fishing, motor bikes, travel, Swiss watches…..actually it would be easier to list vices he is not passionate about). He holds many close personal friendships within both PCC, Habanos s.a and many Cubanos both within and outside of the cigar industry. Rob is a regular visitor to Havana and the biggest fan of its people if not its government. His vision for www.friendsofhabanos.com is to produce a Forum which will apply real pressure for the Habanos cigar industry to continuously improve and innovate while never forgetting its history and heritage.

Lisa Goreta is the patron saint of Cigar Czar. The brains behind the throne (forever plotting the fall of the great leader), Lisa has proven to be the master (mistress?) of service and service systems. She adores her family (clients) and the feeling is mutual. Lisa is who you will mostly be dealing with. You are blessed.

Czar House is located in Brisbane, Australia and at any time of the day you will find Rob, Lisa and Smithy plus a myriad of local clients in various states of work and revelry. A cigar and champagne on the rocking chairs on the deck of Czar house awaits members ….so come and visit us!
